CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleanliness & Upkeep: Maintain exceptional cleaning standards across classrooms, common areas, and school grounds.
- Maintenance: Execute assigned repair and maintenance work orders within 48 hours.
- Safety First: Use required PPE 100% of the time, keep all chemical supplies securely locked, and immediately report unsafe situations.
- Inventory: Monitor supplies and order from the Facilities Manager within campus guidelines.
- Equipment: Safely operate heavy cleaning machinery and properly handle standard facility cleaning solutions.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Skills: Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions for cleaning, minor maintenance, and safety.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to handle chemicals, operate cleaning equipment, and exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally (or 10 pounds frequently).
- Compliance: Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in commercial or school-based custodial operations.
