JOB HIGHLIGHT
Location: Miami, FL (Route-Based)
Pay: $35-40/hr
AB Facility Services (ABFS) is seeking a Mobile HVAC & Facilities Technician to support a portfolio of commercial client locations throughout South Florida from Miami to Jupiter.
This is a field-based role ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting building systems and servicing multiple locations throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues
• Complete service requests and work orders across multiple client sites
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with clients and management
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
Requirements:
• HVAC experience required
• Electrical troubleshooting experience strongly preferred
• Mobile service technician or route-based maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities services
• EPA Certification preferred
• 5 years in building maintenance or engineering, with at least 2 years in a mobile or multi-site role preferred, residential and commercial HVAC techs with at least 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must reside in the Miami area and be comfortable traveling between Miami and Jupiter
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Capability to work in varied environments including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region
Ideal Background:
Commercial HVAC Technician, Mobile Maintenance Technician, Facilities Technician, Building Engineer, or candidates from ABM, CBRE, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, EMCOR, or similar facilities service organizations.
