For more than 40 years, Sunrise Landscape, a commercial landscape maintenance, design and installation company, has been serving West Central Florida with a commitment to landscape and service excellence. We have an opportunity for an experienced Spray/Fertilization Technician to join the Sunrise team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our clients' landscapes with precision and care. Key responsibilities include spreading fertilizer, mixing,, applying chemicals and other related tasks.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and dedicated professional with strong manual dexterity and at least two years of experience in the lawn and ornamental field. You must be capable of lifting to 50 lbs., working outdoors in high temperatures, and operating both a hose & reel and a zero-turn spray machine. A clean driving record with a valid US license (for a minimum of 3 years) is essential.

Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical and fertilizer applications on assigned properties.
- Diagnose and treat insects/diseases; perform weed control.
- Complete pre-trip duties of loading equipment/chemicals for daily routes.
- Drive truck/trailer to and from job sites.
- Identify additional needs at assigned properties.
- Follow company safety protocols, identify, and communicate safety issues to the team
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a landscape fertilization department/role.
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Clean driving record with a valid US license (for a minimum of 3 years).

What You Will Do:
- Deliver and maintain exceptional client relationships for a portfolio of commercial landscape customers through service delivery of pest, fertilizer and weed control.
- Organize and lead the chemical and fertilizer applications on assigned properties.
- Monitor landscape health and care needs while diagnosing any lawn/plant problems.
- Identify pest challenges; treat with appropriate chemicals.
- Partner with Account Managers on client's needs & identification of challenges.

What You Bring to Us:
- At least 1 year of experience in fertilization/chemicals.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license required + clean driving record; you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle.
- Previous experience with a professional landscape organization diagnosing insect & disease issues.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Additional Information:
- Division works Monday - Friday
- Salary will be commensurate with experience but will range from $20.00-$23.00 per hour.
