Pay Rate:
1 YOE: $30.89/hour | 5 YOE: $35.02/hour
10 YOE: $39.21/hour | 15+ YOE: $43.25/hour
Shift Differential:
Night Shift: +$3.00/hour
Weekend Shift: +$2.00/hour

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Oncology for a direct-hire opportunity in Tallahassee, FL.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze comprehensive physiological and psychological data regarding patients' health status and acute conditions.
- Formulate nursing diagnoses, identify expected outcomes, and develop individualized plans of care.
- Administer medications, oncology-related therapies, and clinical procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
- Advocate for patient safety, quality care, and treatment effectiveness.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and medication side effects.
- Provide emotional and clinical support to patients and families throughout hospitalization.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Utilize unit resources, supplies, and technology efficiently to support patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing.
- Active Florida Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care Medical-Surgical RN experience.
- Strong clinical judgment and autonomous decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a 1:5 to 1:6 patient assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- ACLS Certification (required within 6 months of employment).
- Previous oncology nursing experience.
