We are seeking a Pool & Beach Host/Hostess to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort.

Role Summary:

The Pool & Beach Host/Hostess will function to assist all guests at Pool/Beach facilities with seating and requests, courteously and efficiently, and according to hotel standards. In addition, the Host/Hostess will maintain the cleanliness and organization of all supplies, equipment, and work areas while ensuring guest safety and enjoyment.

This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a full-time position available.

Essential Qualifications:

• Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
• Ability to provide legible communication.
• Ability to do basic arithmetic.
• Valid certification in first aid and C.P.R. (desired)
• Previous experience in similar position with a hotel. (desired)
• Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably. (desired)

• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to adapt to priority changes of workflow or requirements.
• Ability to perform job functions in outdoor environment with exposure to sun, high temperatures, wind and the ocean.

• Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas.
• Ability to remain standing for entire shift.
• Ability to reach, bend, and stoop.
• Ability to carry 35 pounds or more.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and other departments as part of a team.
