As the population ages and those who are disabled and need long-term care, the demand for LPNs/LPNs has grown. The job of a LPN entails assessing patients' health, administrative work, basic nursing care, developing treatment plans and supervising nurses' aids. This position is vital to providing direct and indirect care to the residents. This position is held by an essential employee and is vital to maintaining the quality of care given to our residents and patients during the coronavirus / COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

LPNs can expect to have responsibilities that include:
  • Admits new residents.
  • Assists physicians during rounds of residents' rooms.
  • Assists in maintaining a physical, social and psychological environment in the best interests of residents. Ensures resident rights are maintained at all times.
  • Assists in writing care plans based on resident needs and change of condition.
  • Obtains and administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician. Documents and reviews medication and treatment sheets for accuracy and compliance with physician orders, professional standards, federal and state regulations and company policy.
  • Assigns and delegates duties to non-licensed nursing staff.
  • Monitoring resident care and supervising other nursing staff.
  • Performs ongoing assessments of residents' physical and mental health.
  • Explains procedures and treatment protocols to residents.

Position Requirements
  • Current licensure in good standing in the state of practice, and all other states where license is held.
  • Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Screening.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening.
  • All new hires will be required to be COVID tested.
