Role Description:
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and own the product vision and roadmap. Prioritize features based on operational impact, ROI, and strategic business goals.
Requirement Gathering: Partner closely with warehouse operators, logistics managers, and operations leaders to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation. Translate these insights into clear, actionable user stories and PRDs.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate daily with engineering, QA, design, and data teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality WMS features on time.
System Integration: Oversee the integration of the WMS with other critical enterprise systems, including ERPs, Order Management Systems (OMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and physical warehouse automation (e.g., robotics, conveyors).
Launch & Enablement: Plan and execute smooth product rollouts. Develop training materials, release notes, and conduct training sessions to ensure high adoption rates among warehouse staff.
Data-Driven Optimization: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pick/pack rates, inventory accuracy, and system uptime. Use this data to continuously iterate and improve the product.
Qualifications
Experience:
4+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Supply Chain, or Logistics software.
Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of warehouse operations (inbound, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management) and how software integrates with hardware (scanners, IoT, automation). Must have technical ability to understand BRE documents and guide developers from through MLD.
Agile Proficiency: Deep experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Analytical Skills: Proven ability to leverage data to make informed product decisions. Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a strong plus.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
