NOTE FROM THE HIRING MANAGER 5/31/26
Additionally, despite clearly specifying the requirement for Creo + Automotive experience, we are receiving submissions that lack both automotive exposure and relevant Creo expertise yet are being proposed at ~/hr for a lesser experience candidate. These submissions are not aligned with the requirement and are not acceptable.

To clarify, my team is not rejecting any candidates even5- range; however, the quality of submissions has been a concern.
Candidate (5/29): Candidate mentioned experience during the interview that was not reflected in the original profile-appears to have been modified by the vendor to match the JD.
Candidate (5/30): No design exposure; for ~2 years of experience, the /hr ask is not justified.
Candidate: Did not attend the scheduled call; currently rescheduled in Beeline for Monday.

We need tighter alignment on both skill requirements and profile authenticity to ensure meaningful progress.

Message to Suppliers 6/1/26:
Emphasizing profile authenticity and ensuring that experience claimed during interviews is accurately reflected in submitted resumes
Reinforcing experience-to-rate alignment to avoid inflated rate expectations for junior profiles
Stressing suppliers to acknowledge interview requests in a timely manner.

Highlighted concerns where candidates do not meet qualifications:
Strict Creo depth validation: Ensuring candidates have hands-on, recent experience in Creo (part, assembly, and especially surfacing), not just exposure listed on resumes.
Automotive relevance: Prioritizing candidates with clear automotive project experience, including components and design cycles, rather than generic mechanical design backgrounds.
GD&T and manufacturing alignment: Verifying practical application of GD&T, along with direct work on plastic, sheet metal, and casting components.
End-to-end design ownership: Highlighting candidates who have contributed across the full product lifecycle (concept to release), including ECN/PPAP involvement where possible.
Resume authenticity checks: Tightening screening to ensure that all claimed experience is consistently reflected across the resume, screening notes, and interview discussions.
Rate vs. experience calibration: Filtering out profiles where the experience level does not justify the submitted rate, especially for junior candidates.
