Network Migration Architect / Technical Lead (L3)

Position Summary
Lead the end-to-end design, planning, testing, and execution of the network separation and migration program. The role owns network architecture, migration execution, application connectivity, cutover planning, and stakeholder coordination across infrastructure, security, endpoint, and application workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
Migration Strategy & Architecture
Design target-state LAN, WAN, Wireless, Firewall, and VPN architecture.
Define IP addressing, VLAN, routing, DNS/DHCP, and network segmentation strategy.
Create migration approach, cutover methodology, rollback plans, and migration runbooks.
Migration Planning & Delivery
Plan network migration waves by site, department, and switches.
Coordinate migration schedules with endpoint, server, cybersecurity, and application teams.
Lead weekend cutovers and migration command-center activities.
Network Build & Implementation

Segmentation: How do you approach the migration of security zones, Access Control Lists (ACLs), and firewall rules to ensure the new network remains segmented and secure?
How will you identify and map "hidden" or hardcoded IP dependencies across different tiers of the application?
How will you conduct pre-cutover testing and dry runs to validate throughput, latency, and firewall policies before the actual move?
