Scope of Position
The Electrical Helper assists in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at construction sites and customer facilities. This role supports licensed electricians and supervisors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and codes.

Job Responsibilities
Assist electricians in assembling, installing, and maintaining conduit systems, including aluminum, PVC-coated, GRC, IMC, stainless steel, and PVC.
Use saws, drills, impact tools, and pipe threaders to cut, thread, and install conduit per specifications and NEC requirements.
Aid in connecting and installing electrical components under the supervision of licensed personnel.
Review and learn to interpret blueprints and diagrams to support accurate installation.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
Participate in overall job site clean-up daily and at completion of the project.
Work in compliance with all company and OSHA safety standards.
Operate forklifts and personnel lifts as required.
Monitor and record time and material used for the job.
Travel as required.
Other duties which may be assigned as needed.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Education & Years of Experience
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Qualifications
Vocational training related to the electrical trade preferred.
Specialized training in OSHA construction safety, fork and/or boom lift operations, CPR/First Responder, or Blood Borne Pathogens is preferred.
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
Ability to utilize and operate a range of tools and equipment in installing, maintaining, and repairing pipe systems.
Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and equipment.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Demonstrates strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Willingness and ability to work in fast-paced and varied industrial environments.
Available to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as required.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, team members may be required to visit alternate locations and therefore must have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to do so. This position requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The team member is frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
