Director Nursing Development Practice (East Region) Summary:

  • Manage Education Specialists, Education Generalist, Education Assistant, Operations Coordinator and Media Specialist.
  • Plan, organize, direct and evaluate clinical education services.
  • Education services include leadership development, clinical orientation, continuing education, in-service, competency assessment and clinical consultant activities.
  • Responsible for JCAHO constant readiness, professional practice for nursing, nursing retention, nursing research, school partnerships, audio visual services and Graduate Nurse Residency Program.
  • Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education/Credentials:

  • Nursing Instructor-MSN and Advanced Clinical Education Specialist are also required.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • RN (Registered Nurse)

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of Education experience
  • 4+ years of leadership/management experience
  • 3+ years of Nursing experience
