Responsibilities

- Organization and staging of the clothing in The Closet, including adding to inventory, sorting, and arranging donated clothing items
- Receiving donations and determining appropriateness of the items for inclusion in The Closet
- Assisting with special events like Pop Into the Closet or the Spring Cleaning with Meaning Clothing Drive.
- Assisting with marketing and promotion of The Closet to the campus community for appointments.
- Developing ideas for community and employer outreach to solicit donations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently using sound judgment & initiative as well as within a small team of fellow Interns and student workers for projects.
- Student in good academic standing
- Maturity, motivation, and commitment to helping others better themselves and the Career Center
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Strong critical thinking skills: ability to weigh multiple factors in order to identify opportunities and include career opportunities to highlight across multiple channels.
- Previous experience working in a retail environment is preferred, but not required.
