Brooks Building Solutions is seeking a Building Automation Technician Intern for Summer 2027. This hands-on opportunity provides exposure to commercial building automation systems, controls installation, programming, and troubleshooting on projects throughout Jacksonville, including major developments such as the new Jaguars stadium and Four Seasons Residential.

What You'll Do:

• Assist technicians with building automation system installations
• Support wiring, device installation, and control panel work
• Assist with system startup, testing, and troubleshooting
• Learn about HVAC controls and building automation technology
• Work on active commercial job sites alongside experienced technicians

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Currently pursuing a degree, certificate, or training in Engineering, Electrical, HVAC, Building Automation, or a related field
• Rising Junior or Senior, registered for full-time classes for Fall 2027
• Interest in controls, technology, electrical systems, or HVAC
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in both an office and active job-site environment
• Available to complete a 10-12 week internship beginning May 24, 2027
