Who You'll Work For
Your supervisor will be our Service Director, BJ Scott, who brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the automotive industry. As a BMW Technician at Tom Bush BMW Jacksonville, BJ is dedicated to providing you with the comprehensive training necessary to excel in your role. You will play a crucial part in maintaining the exceptional standards associated with BMW vehicles by delivering expert diagnostics, precise repairs, and thorough maintenance services.

- Perform all repair tasks as outlined on the repair order with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership and factory standards.
- Accurately diagnose vehicle malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs to restore optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the parts department to promptly obtain all required components and materials.
- Thoroughly inspect vehicles to identify any additional safety concerns or service needs.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all work performed.
- Conduct road tests when necessary to ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards.
- Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions to stay current with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to the safe disposal of hazardous materials.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Previous automotive technician experience required (dealership experience preferred)
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of shop equipment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license, clean drug screening, and ability to operate an automobile safely
