The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel has over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.
JOB PURPOSE: To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Barback, Food Runner, and Dining Room Attendant services.

JOB PURPOSE: To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Barback, Food Runner, and Dining Room Attendant services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Bar Back
- Stock and replenish bar supplies and beverages
- Maintain adequate ice, glassware, paper supplies, and garnishes
- Keep bar and storage areas clean and organized
- Assist bartenders during service
- Restock coolers and liquor storage
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Monitor inventory and communicate shortages
- Follow sanitation, safety, and service standards
- Assist with keg and equipment changes as needed
- Complete side work and restaurant opening/closing duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Food Runner
- Ability to learn and communicate ingredients and preparations of culinary dishes to guests
- Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
- Ensure plates are properly presented before leaving the kitchen
- Assist servers with food delivery and table maintenance
- Communicate with kitchen and service staff regarding orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Complete side work and restaurant opening/closing duties
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor guest needs and communicate requests to the server
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year food runner experience/bar back experience preferred. Other relevant hotel / food & beverage experience will be considered.
- Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers, with the ability to answer guest questions and describe menu items.
- Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in an indoor/outdoor environments.
- Required repetitive motion of arms, hands, and legs.

- Serving trays, tray jacks, flatware, glassware, Micros terminals
