ASO Manager

At EA, we connect our mobile franchises with players around the world by maximizing discoverability across every storefront and discovery surface. Our Mobile Growth & Storefront Strategy team partners with game teams to drive organic growth, improve conversion, and shape how players discover our games in an evolving marketplace.

As ASO Manager, you'll lead App Store Optimization for a flagship EA SPORTS title while contributing to broader initiatives across our mobile portfolio. Reporting to the ASO Lead, you'll own the discovery strategy, roadmap, and performance goals for your title while remaining deeply involved in execution and experimentation.

This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on delivery. You'll develop and evolve keyword strategies, optimize store presence, design conversion experiments, and turn complex data into actionable recommendations that drive measurable growth.

As AI-powered and generative discovery experiences continue to reshape how players find and evaluate games, you'll help define how we adapt our ASO approach to meet emerging opportunities across both traditional storefronts and new discovery surfaces. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in office at one of the posted locations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the ASO strategy for a flagship EA SPORTS title across the App Store and Google Play, including roadmap development, prioritization, and performance targets.
  • Develop and maintain keyword strategies across branded and non-branded terms, using search demand, competitive insights, relevance, and share-of-voice analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate conversion optimization initiatives, including Custom Product Pages, Store Listing Experiments, and Custom Store Listings. Apply sound experimentation practices, including hypothesis development, sample sizing, and statistical analysis.
  • Conduct competitive and category analyses that translate into clear, prioritized recommendations.
  • Partner with creative, user acquisition, product marketing, and brand teams to develop and optimize store assets, including icons, screenshots, videos, and messaging.
  • Forecast the expected impact of ASO initiatives and measure performance against targets and projections.
  • Share insights, best practices, and learnings across EA's mobile portfolio to help advance the discipline of ASO.
  • Ability to translate complex or ambiguous data into clear, actionable recommendations and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in ASO, mobile growth, or app marketplace optimization, with a demonstrated track record of improving organic acquisition and conversion performance.
  • Hands-on experience with ASO platforms such as AppTweak, Sensor Tower, or similar tools, as well as App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Lookerz
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and experiments simultaneously while maintaining analytical rigor and attention to detail.
  • Experience evaluating or optimizing content for AI-driven, generative, or emerging discovery surfaces.
