Stillwater Insurance Group currently has openings for a Product Rating Specialist.
We are seeking individuals who will evaluate the functionality and validate the rating of product changes and enhancements on our processing systems, web-based tools and comparative raters for our Personal Lines of business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop key scenarios to test rate fillings and rule changes.
- Assemble property data and identify risk characteristics to incorporate in creating and implementing test plans for rate revisions and product changes.
- Regression test active policies to ensure rating accuracy, proper policy forms and form language are in distribution.
- Evaluate policy rates and functions in Excel® spreadsheets for testing policy premiums.
- Trouble shoot issues found on policy issuance operating systems by recreating the problem to determine the root cause; report the findings to the Product Technician Supervisor.
- Gather key information needed to support test plans.
- Support customer service and sales department by explaining rating logic and details of specific policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), with three to four years property experience and/or an Associate's Degree with a minimum of one year's property experience.
- Proficient on database software, the Internet, Excel® spreadsheet and word processing software.
