Job Description

The Sales Operations Continuous Improvement business unit is accountable for driving process improvements, providing support and training, and developing tools that will empower employees to provide a superior customer experience.

Job Summary


Sales Operations and Continuous Improvement Sr. Consultant is responsible for supporting moderately complex deployments of the CI solutions to support the sales efforts for group and individual products across three distribution channels through development, design and production of technology solutions within established user software suites already in use. The Technical Solutions Senior Consultant, working with the CI Assoc Manager, performs the end-to-end planning and implementation of technical solutions developed to streamline processes and outputs for internal customers requiring B2B and B2B2C collateral used in the sales acquisition process.


Key Responsibilities


Collaborates within the Continuous Improvement Team to solve problems and remove barriers in technological improvement
Builds, cultivates, and maintain interdepartmental relationships to balance requirements for current projects.
Create and maintain accurate documentation on all project requirements, coding structure, and changes (proposed, rejected, and accepted), with the rationale around each
Develop, design, research, create, and implement routine projects, processes, and policies with minimal degree of negotiation of resources in order to complete projects
Actively develop automated tools within Excel, Access, and Word using various compatible coding languages
Coordinate own work plan, prioritizing activities, and handles multiple projects and activities
Maintain understanding of products, services, and processes of the department; implement new processes as needed to support departmental work and project requirements
Promote interdepartmental synergistic workflows by consulting and collecting feedback from product stakeholders
Work independently on familiar projects and with management guidance on new or unfamiliar projects
Maintain current suite of automated tools while including new upgrades across all tools as necessary

Job Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience

Prior Knowledge of Visual Basic Application required.
Intermediate organization and project/program management skills
Intermediate negotiation and interpersonal skills
Advanced skills using Microsoft suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional,
Strong Visual Basic Application and SQL
Strong Written and Verbal communications skills
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify and recommend appropriate solutions
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree preferred
