About Us – GreatJaxJobs.com
Our Mission
GreatJaxJobs.com helps job seekers and employers connect across Jacksonville, Duval County, Northeast Florida, and the surrounding region through real local jobs, authentic hiring companies, and a more direct way to apply.
Jacksonville is one of Florida’s most important employment markets, with opportunities across healthcare, logistics, transportation, finance, insurance, technology, education, government, construction, skilled trades, hospitality, customer service, military support, and professional services. Our mission is to make local hiring easier, cleaner, and more effective for the people and companies that power this region.
For job seekers, that means access to real opportunities without fake job clutter, confusing redirects, or unnecessary apply walls. For employers, it means a better way to reach candidates who live in Jacksonville, work across Northeast Florida, or want to build their careers in this growing market.
As part of the Florida Talent Network, GreatJaxJobs.com gives employers and job seekers the strength of a local Jacksonville job site with the added reach of a statewide hiring network.
“Transparency is our promise. For job seekers, your resume and email address stay yours, helping create direct, personalized communication with employers. For employers, it means access to authentic, engaged talent through local outreach, recruitment marketing, and trusted Florida employment platforms.”
Roger Lear, CEO, Florida Talent Network
Our Story
Our experience in the job board industry started in 2001 with the launch of GreatInsuranceJobs.com, one of the first niche employment sites built for a specific industry. Since then, we have spent decades building job boards, recruitment marketing products, employer branding tools, hiring events, and technology designed to help real employers connect with real candidates.
That experience shaped the way we built GreatJaxJobs.com.
Jacksonville is not a one-size-fits-all hiring market. It is a major business, logistics, healthcare, financial, education, military, and transportation hub with talent needs that stretch across Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau, and surrounding Northeast Florida communities.
Large national job boards can be expensive, crowded, and frustrating for both employers and job seekers. Too often, candidates are forced through extra steps, confusing redirects, or platforms that make it harder to connect directly with the company.
GreatJaxJobs.com was built to do the opposite.
We believe job seekers should be treated like gold. They should be able to find real local jobs and apply directly to employers without unnecessary barriers. We also believe employers deserve a local hiring platform that helps their jobs get seen, their brand stand out, and their candidate relationships begin from the first application.
We are excited to bring everything we have learned about local job boards, recruitment marketing, direct apply, employer visibility, and authentic hiring to Jacksonville and Northeast Florida.
Our Focus
Jacksonville’s job market moves fast, and employers need more than a basic job posting to reach the right people. GreatJaxJobs.com helps companies market their open jobs to local candidates across Northeast Florida through digital campaigns, community outreach, influencer partnerships, employer branding, and future live hiring events built around the Jacksonville workforce.
