Job Family Summary
The Market Conduct team is responsible for the compliance of marketing materials with state insurance and NAIC regulations for all health, life and disability products, applications and customer service forms. The Department handles state required reports with departments of insurance (DOI). The team partners with Marketing and executive leadership on development and implementation of marketing materials based on new product initiatives and marketing strategies.
The Consultant provides consultation and best practices for the Market Conduct team. The Consultant will be responsible for implementing compliance review for all marketing and enrollment materials including customer correspondence, field bulletins, brochures, microsites, and other related materials. This individual will also provide consultation for Department of Insurance reporting and all applicable materials for market conduct exams.
Ensures compliance with National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and state insurance regulations.
Research insurance laws and regulations to respond to Department of Insurance reporting.
Manages own work and deadlines within the Market Conduct Team.
Identifies and implements opportunities for efficiency within work.
Completes ambiguous and complex responses to Department of Insurance questions.
Partner with Marketing on development and implementation of marketing materials based on new product initiatives and marketing strategies.
Reviews enrollment materials submitted to Product Support.
Submits Department of Insurance required reports.
- Bachelors degree Insurance or Marketing concentration preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in health and life insurance industry preferred
- Subject matter expert on NAIC Accident, Health & Life insurance regulations
- Knowledge of Allstate Benefits products, guidelines and processes preferred
- Decision maker, creative thinker and problem solver, process improvement driven
- Compliance background in the insurance industry
