This will directly support the Senior Counsel with regard to trademark portfolio management, including trademark searches, applications and renewals, as well as, drafting correspondence and contracts for transactional attorneys as needed.
Qualified candidates will have the following Qualified candidates will have a Paralegal Certificate and, at a minimum, an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's degree or other advanced degree with excellent academic performance preferred Legal professional with 3-5+ years of experience in a corporate or law firm setting Experience with Microsoft Office Trademark experience, including experience with electronic filings before the USPTO, is a plus, but not required Primary Support Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property in all matters: Monitoring and maintaining the TOUR's U.

and foreign trademark portfolio Conducting preliminary domestic and international trademark searches Assisting attorneys in the review and analysis of trademark search reports Preparing and filing trademark applications and renewals with the USPTO Drafting responses to office actions issued by the USPTO Communicating with internal business units with respect to trademark matters, including proper use of trademarks in advertising and packaging Coordinating with outside counsel with respect to filing and prosecution of foreign trademark applications and enforcement matters Reviewing and processing invoices from local counsel Conducting internet and social media research with respect to intellectual property infringement Support Transactional Attorneys: Drafting letters and correspondence Reviewing and preparing commercial contracts and licenses Our benefits include: Competitive compensation package including performance bonuses Medical/Dental/Life/Disability insurance Paid time off 401k Employer funded retirement plan Health Savings Account/Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Wellness Program Membership to TPC Sawgrass EOE/DFW
