The Collections Specialist, RAC is responsible for performing collections, daily appeal audit follow-up, monitoring RAC audit trends and issues and updated financial transactions.
Supervisor RAC ManagerDuties (included but not limited to): Review medical records and other documentation for accuracy and professional appearance, and send RAC appeal package accordingly Monitor RAC takebacks and appeal status by running appropriate reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims denied for clinical reasons Identify problem claims and trends and escalate as appropriate Update the RRT and any other systems (Artiva, SSD Web Tools) to identify actions taken on the account Work with RAC Agencies to secure and/or collect payment on account balances outstanding Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct philosophy and Mission and Value Statement Other duties as assigned
